Booking and pricing

The price shown in the quote engine at the time you submit your booking is your locked price for that service, for that date, at that home size. We do not add fees after the fact. If the condition of the home is materially different from what was described at booking (for example, a much larger home or an unusually heavy condition), we will contact you before any change is made and you may cancel at no charge.

Payment authorization

By booking you authorize Set & Shine Cleaning Co. to store your card on file and to charge the locked price once the clean is completed. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we store only a payment token. Charges appear after service, never before.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling are free up to 48 hours before your scheduled arrival window. Inside 48 hours, a $49 late-cancellation fee applies, because your cleaner has reserved that slot and turned down other work. You can cancel or reschedule by replying to your confirmation text or emailing hello@setandshinecleaning.com.

200% satisfaction guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your clean, tell us within 48 hours of the service and we will return to re-clean the affected areas at no charge. That is the 200% guarantee: a free re-clean, promptly.

Access and safety

Please provide accurate entry instructions at booking. Our pros will lock up behind them. For everyone's safety, our cleaners will not move heavy furniture, handle biohazards, mold, pest infestations or animal waste, or work in unsafe conditions.

Service area

We currently serve Washington DC, Montgomery and Prince George's County in Maryland, and Arlington, Fairfax and Alexandria in Virginia. Booking outside these areas is subject to availability.

Liability

Set & Shine Cleaning Co. is bonded and insured with $1M/$2M general liability. Report any damage within 48 hours of service so we can resolve it. Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the affected item, up to the limits of our insurance.
